Katie Pineda, Fourth Grader, on what Wonder Woman and superheroes mean to her in Wonder Women! The Untold Stories of American Superheroines. (Starts atΒ 22:40.)

At the end of the day, this is what superheroes really are all about. Encouragement. Justice. Hope. The belief in a better tomorrow; that you can take what you’ve been given in life and be more.

Once you’re able to believe that you don’t have to be defined by what’s been said or done to you in the past, when you believe that you will rise above, well.

You can do anything.
